I've picked up hundreds of fracture bases in SSF and I'm sitting on Essences for crafting but I still can't upgrade any pieces without RNG drops to begin with. No defense rolls on gear, low MS on boots, no damage mods on jewelry and with how crafting has been gutted I can't be bothered to try and get better gear. My highest character this league is wearing mostly rares with T3+ Life rolls and 1-2 30+ resistance rolls on them with high single or double rarity rolls. The average build needs at least half of their rares to have multiple resistance or defensive stats T4 or higher or they simple won't be res capped. The average build cannot forgo getting damage from jewellery because without it they're zDPS. The average build in 2022 simply cannot wear rares that don't give Life/ES and EV/AR or they won't have enough raw HP to survive anything in maps. If ANY rare drops and doesn't have at the very least 3 good mods with decent rolls it's dogshit. If ANY rare drops without T5 mods or higher it's dogshit. The fundamental item affix system was made for a game where 1 or 2 well rolled mods on an item was enough or 2 to 3 of the right mods even at low rolls was enough.īut in 2022 that just isn't the case. I can pick up 15 rare jewels from an AN rare and every single one of them is hot garbage.
